  1. Ferret 1.1 Documentation

  4. This application will scan a selected drive for files that are
  5. infected with the 'Scores' virus. When a file is found that is
  6. infected, the path is displayed in the dialog box and you are
  7. given the option to Cancel, Skip or Repair the infected file. 
  8.  
  9. Cancel will stop the scan and take you to to the starting dialog.
  10.  
  11. Skip will resume scanning without repairing the file.
  12.  
  13. Repair will remove the virus from the application and return
  14. the file to its pre-infected state.
  15.  
  16. A Delete button will show up for two files that are
  17. INIT or RDEV resources for the 'Scores' virus.
  18. These files are 'Scores' and 'Desktop '. Note the space at the
  19. end of the name 'Desktop '. Both of these files need to be
  20. deleted.
  21.  
  22. You can cancel at anytime by selecting the Cancel button.
